It wasn’t just being born into a dentist’s family that encouraged Dr. Chris to work in oral healthcare along with his father and brother; it was also his personal interest in medicine and love of helping people. Dentistry gives him a way to channel his passions into something wonderful. Even after all these years, he’s confident that he made the right choice of professions.
Dr. Chris completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology along with a minor in Chemistry while studying at the University of North Texas. He then moved on to the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in order to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Of course, he continues to seek advanced training whenever possible to keep his skills and knowledge as up-to-date with the ever-changing dental field as possible. Among the many courses he has completed, notable examples include root canal therapy, dental implant surgery, and cosmetic dentistry. He has also been named one of the Top 40 Dentists Under Age 40 in America in Incisal Edge Magazine!
Dr. Chris is currently a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a member of the following organizations:
Dr. Chris loves hanging out with his family. He and his wife Emily live with their sons Jackson and Brennan, who both want to enter the dental field themselves someday. He also likes to spend his time hunting, fishing, and playing golf whenever he has time to enjoy himself.
